I just found out today that my job is possibly going to go from part time to full time, and I should be pretty secure for at least 5 years. Plus I'd get benefits! Right now I'm contracted, part time, and my job security is kind of nil since the grant I get paid out of runs out next summer. It's not been confirmed yet, but I'll know for sure in another week or two. As soon as it's confirmed, we're also going to rent an office building, which is all kinds of awesome. Right now I work out of my house, and while it's cool to not have to do things like get dressed to go to work, I'm a little sick of never leaving the house.

So...fulltime job means I may end up cutting back (even more) on internet stuff, but it also means a more structured schedule so who knows. I might end up being online more regularly. XD

My Gaia account was hacked yesterday morning (they got my main and one of my mules). They got into my gmail accounts first, which was a gigantic pain since I use one of them for work. Fortunately they didn't keep it long, and my mod account doesn't have access to anything really all that important at the moment, but it was still very embarassing to have it happen, because I thought my stuff was pretty secure.

I've moved everything Gaia-related off gmail though, since it's so easy to get into. I would recommend anyone who still has an account here to do the same, even if you're not very active anymore. They like to hit older accounts that aren't in use and use them for password phishing, so if you are still able to periodically log in and check your accounts, it couldn't hurt to update the passwords and emails.

I don't know what the deal is...maybe I'm still in a good/creative mood from finishing a picture the other day. Maybe it's because I got some work-related stress off my back this week. Whatever the deal is, the ideas are really coming tonight. Unfortunately I don't really have time to act on any of them, but I have my sketchbook right next to my computer and any time one hits, I've been jotting down a sketch.

The one I'm really excited about, and probably the first I'll tackle, is some fanart of Randel Oland from Pumpkin Scissors. There's just not enough fanart of that guy around, and I have such a crush on him <3.
